Sandra Fowler began writing poetry more than half a century ago. She studied poetry with Lilith Lorraine, Founder-Director, Avalon, in the early sixties. She received Honorary Doctorates from World University, 1981 and World Academy of Arts and Culture, at XXII World Congress of Poets meeting in Romania, 2002.

She was Contributing Editor, Ocarina, 1972-1978, and later its Associate Editor, 1978-1989. She was awarded Medal of Honor for Lifetime Achievement, American Biographical Institute, 1980, inducted into the International Poetry Hall of Fame, 1997, is a Wall of Tolerance Honoree, 2002, International Best Poet of the year, International Poetry Translation and Research Centre, 2005, International Best Critic, International Poetry Translation and Research Centre, 2007, and given Editors Choice-1 Award, The Enchanting Verses, 2009

Her published books are ‘In The Shape Of Sun‘ Israel,1972-73, ‘The Colors Cry In Rain‘ U.S., 1983, and ‘Ever Sunset’, India, 1992. Her work has appeared in innumerable journals and websites in 190 countries and has been translated into seven languages. It has also been recorded on cassette by The International Library Of Poetry and on CD by The Poet House.

She is a Distinguished member of The International Society of Poets and a Member of World Academy of Arts and Culture, among several other memberships. She is included in many International Biographical books of poets.
