The Pearly Dew Drop Speaks
A few dew drops rests on the primroses with garden greens
It seems like glistening pearls to a few
But the drying drops knows for sure
That they are indeed not the pearly wealthy whites
But only a few drops of glistening moist moments
On the rich laden scented garden
They might be adorned. only come back may another day
If the willingness of fair weather and fade-in garden days permits
Beautiful imagery.
thank you
You have recreated the moment well.
I loved the concept and you’ve expressed it so well. However, I do feel that the title and the poem don’t match very well. It would have been nice to ‘hear’ the dew drops’ voice as well!
Ah! The fleeting moments of glory… Drops don’t get attached to them, and neither must we.
true
Gouri’s poem make you see and feel the moment as if it lasts forever.
life should be seen in moments
Adorable 🥰🥰🥰
thank you
Beautiful metaphor ! Loved it .., short but so much depth ! Gauri very well expressed
few lines are needed to say the right thing
Very nice about a short lived glorious life. Uncertain about its end but keeps coming back as another dew on another day. Hope is so well expressed here.
hope is like that it always comes back
So well said Gouri.
